Products packed in in metallised packages are obviously more complex to detect. With a few modifications of your process it will be possible. To exclude any contamination of your product, you can do the following modifications:
- You metal detect your product at the latest process step before the product enters in the packaging machine. You carry out a risk assessment and a process adaptation excluding every other possibility of metallic contamination
- There are systems that detect metals through metallized films
- You can choose to complete the metal inspection with an X-ray inspection of your packaged products
